On 15th April 2022, WCP-Nepal team had a discussion with the Executive Director of Agriculture Enterprises Centre, the agricultural wing of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FNCCI). AEC is working to expand and strengthen market oriented private sector driven agro enterprises in order to increase the value and volume of high-value products sold domestically and internationally. AEC and KUSOM have agreed to work collaboratively for training and awareness programs trade, sustainability and access to finance business plan development business incubation, mentoring, project preparation, monitoring, evaluation for the agro business related activities. AEC has a broad base of clients with presence across 77 districts of the country, this will give us an opportunity to reach out to local SMEs to facilitate their trading activities.
