Dr. Thapalia is a Professor of Management at Purbanchal University School of Management, Nepal. His area of specialization is Supply Chain Management and Operations Research. He keeps an interest in the following subjects- Mathematical modeling, Logistics, International Business, Strategic Management, and Business Development. He has multiple publications under his name widely travels for academic research and conferences. He presently teaches MPhil, and MBA programs and supervises Ph.D. and MPhil research work. Presently he is the Chairperson of the MAN Koshi Province Chapter. He also engages in the development of incubation centers, mentoring startups, and doing social projects for the community.
